Samantha Elvy recently graduated from a BA in ceramics at the University of Wales in Cardiff where her work was acclaimed for its unique style.
Elvy creates one off elaborate and elegant ceramic pieces that have highly decorative surfaces. One of her favourite ways to create these indulgent surfaces is with the use of transfers and lustres.
In the 'Tea and Titillation' collectiom Elvy recycles outdated chintz teasets, adding her own designs, vintage peep show images and 50s pin-ups to create highly seductive designs.
